He was accurate without being redundant (for me this means to be a great guide and teacher:)) He leaded us through the narrow streets of the Medina showing and explaining every hidden gern of Fes. Where to begin regarding Chakib Badrane? A 5 star rating does not suffice: it should be the galaxy full of them! The 1st day I met Chakib he was professional but warm, knowledgeable but easy-going, smart but humble, & clearly in possession of a big heart full of love for his city & a massive catalog of information about Fes; its history, its people & its culture. He had many fantastic stories to share & places to visit, but was perfectly happy to stop & let me interrupt his plan when something caught my eye, to ask a random question, I wanted to buy something, or take a photo somewhere. His good mood & positive attitude reigned supreme as he deftly navigated the winding streets of the Medina, & he was a lovely person with whom to spend the day… So nice that I have spent several days with Chakib as a guide now! Chakib Badrane is an outstanding tour guide! We spent the day with him on a private tour of Fes and he was just as excellent as all of the previous reviews state. I would add that he also is very knowledgable about the Jewish history of Fes so we had a detailed tour of the Mellah as well as the general sights of Fes. We highly recommend Chakib Badrane.

Chakib is amazing. My husband and I visited Morocco for the first time a few weeks ago and we loved it. One of the highlights of our visit was Fes and I am sure this is due to Chakib. Chakib is smart, informative, funny, fun and passionate about his home. He covered all the history and facts about Fes, an area I knew nothing about, and now, I understand and appreciate Chakib’s love for this beautiful city. Chakib took us through all the alleys and the market, all the while telling us stories. We cannot thank him enough for a wonderful day. No better guide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
